TSG Sneak Peek Day 4--Henna designs

Last day of sneaky peeks from There She Goes.

Today were showcasing designs from our newest designer Chaitali Narla.  She's designed a wonderful set of fun henna designs.

Henna Swirls is a 2x6 set that includes a total of 2 stamps and will sell for $9.00.

For my card I used the beautiful flower design from the set.  I stamped them twice and popped the second set up on foam dots for some interest.  That big bow is courtesy of the instructions of my sweet friend Jinny Newlin.  I also used the Handwritten sentiments set from last months release.
Would you like to win the new Henna Swirls?  Here is what you need to do- visit the Trendsetter’s blogs that are participating in each of the blog hop challenges below and comment on their creations as you go. One of the Trendsetter’s blogs (from each hop day) will be randomly chosen as the ‘it’ blog and a winner will be picked using a random number generator from the comments left on that Trendsetter’s Blog Hop Challenge post.
You will not know which blog has been chosen so the more you comment on the better your chances are of winning new stamps! The Blog Hop Challenges will be open until 5 pm Eastern Time Saturday, September 28th with the winner being announced during the release party chat.

TSG Sneak Peek Day 3--Halloween Tags

We're on our third day of fun new release sneak peeks from There She Goes.

Today we have the Halloween Tags set from Melyssa Connolly.

Halloween Tags is a 4x8 set that includes a total of 19 stamps and will sell for $18.00.

Even though this is a tag set it can be used in other ways like I've done on my card.  I just couldn't resist matching the frame and fun sentiment with old Frankie here from yesterdays No Tricks Only Treats set.

Let your dreams fly

Oh what a week!  I had every intention of doing lots of crafting this week and getting ahead on some DT projects but it was not meant to be.  My head decided to alternate between throbbing and feeling like a drunk bowling ball.  Neither was pleasant.  Gotta love thoses sinuses.  :-)  I'm finally starting to feel better, but I went a very CAS route with my card for Mo's Digital Pencil this week.  I just love this little guy and his kite.  I also took this opportunity to play with a bit more washi tape.  Here's a closer look at him.

Copics Used:
skin E000, E00, E11, E13, R20
hair E21, E23, E25, E27, E29

shoes N3, N5, N7, COO, C2

Our challenge this week is from our sweet Anja who wants to see cards "For the Boys".  There are lots of cuties in Mo's store if you don't have one in your stash.  Don't forget you must use a Mo's image to play along and have a chance at the $5.00 gift voucher.
     Have a wonderful day!

TSG Sneak Peek Day2--No Tricks Only Treats

Day 2 and some more Halloween fun from There She Goes.

Melyssa Connolly has designed a super fun set of Halloween characters in her No Tricks Only Treats set.

No Tricks Only Treats is a 6x8 set that includes a total of 30 stamps and will sell for $24.00.

I have a friend who is VERY into zombies and I think this little card will be making it's way to her.  He was fun to color and I couldn't help but pair him with the "appropriate" cemetery admission ticket on the DP I used.
Would you like to win the new No Tricks Only Treats stamp set? Here is what you need to do- visit the Trendsetter’s blogs that are participating in each of the blog hop challenges below and comment on their creations as you go. TSG Sneak Peek Day 1--Bewitched By You and Totally Witchin'

Welcome to our first day of the new releases sneak peeks from There She Goes.  Today we're sharing the first of three new Halloween sets.

Torico has done it again with some awesome witchy fun, and what's a witch without black cats and bats.  There are some of those too.

Bewitched By You is a 4x8 set that includes a total of 17 stamps and will sell for $18.00.

There's also a separate set of sentiments thought up by my crazy Trendsetter sisters to go along with Torico's witchies.  Their wicked senses of humor really shine here.

Totally Witchin’ is a 3x4 set that includes a total of 7 stamps and will sell for $9.00.

Halloween isn't really my kind of holiday, but I hope you enjoy the cards this week anyway.  I picked out the flying witch and a couple of bats to fly across the moon with her.
Would you like to win the new Bewitched By You/Totally Witchin’ stamp set? Here is what you need to do- visit the Trendsetter’s blogs that are participating in each of the blog hop challenges below and comment on their creations as you go. 100% nuts!

Oh boy did I need to make this card.  Last weeks crafting frenzy really put me in a creative slump.  Every time I even thought about sitting down and making a card I cringed.  These cutie patootie acorns just kept calling my name though.  After several design revisions I came up with this, and yes I qualify for the first part of the sentiment.  LOL
There She Goes has been showcasing some of the older sets again this week.  For my card I used the two different sizes of acorns from the "Pumpkins on the Vine" set.  Make sure you pop over to the blog and check out all the new creations from my fellow Trendsetters.
I know I have mentioned several times when commenting on your cards that I really need to use more washi tape.  Well, here it is.  Do you see it?  Huh?  hee hee  While making a quick trip to Target the other day I just couldn't pass up the opportunity to peruse their crafty aisle.  They had several  Halloween themed items out including some American Crafts washi tape.  One package of two rolls included a roll with bats on it and the awesome woodgrain that I've used on this card.  Yep, that background panel is two rows of washi tape on some cardstock.  Super cute huh!
The papers and cute little sentiment are all from last years fabulous Simple Stories Harvest Lane collection.  I couldn't believe how perfect the little nut saying was for my card.
I even drug out several Distress inks and created those fun oak leaves in the foreground.  I had intended to use them on my card but they didn't make the final cut.  Here are the Copic colors in case you're interested.

Copics Used:
acorn caps E21, E23, E25, E27, E29
acorns  E31, E33, E35

I'd like to enter my card into the following challenges:

Perfect Sentiment--find me some fall

     Have a wonderful weekend!

For me!!! You shouldn't have

There's nothing more fun than tearing into a bunch of presents, especially if they're all yours.  We are continuing on with our birthday celebration at There She Goes Clear Stamps with a theme of "Presents" for this weeks challenge.  We'd love to see what you can come up with.
I've used a couple of the images from the "Make a Wish" set.  Hope you can see how that sweet little bow is dimensional.
Last weeks mini album totally zapped me mentally and physically and if took me forever to visit and comment.  I still didn't get to everyone and I'm afraid I'm just going to have to wipe the slate clean and start fresh for Monday.  Sorry about that guys.
     Have a great week!

A mini and a Freckled Fawn giveaway

I was really excited when I was contacted by Doe from Freckled Fawn and asked if I would like to create something using their adorable embellishments.  The fun items she sent me are part of the September OHDEERME Embellishment Kit Club Freckled Fawn has just established.

The OHDEERME Embellishment Kit Club is the perfect kit for crafters who want to use up their personal paper stash. Each month, Freckled Fawn designs and manufactures a collection of coordinating embellishments. You will receive a tin filled with enough embellishments to inspire you as you create dozens of lovely projects! With the OHDEERME embellishments in hand, browsing your personal paper stash each month will become an exciting endeavor as you preserve your memories, fashion a card for just the right occasion, or add flair to a gift for a special person.

     So guess what?!

Freckled Fawn has generously offered to give ONE of my readers a $20.00 ohdeermekit.com gift card!!!!!!!

WOOHOO!!!!  Let me tell ya that these are quality embellies and SUPER cute!  You won't have any problem using them on your projects...whatever they may be.
Speaking of projects, now you get to see what came out of that picture I posted of my crafty kitchen table a couple of days ago.  LOL  I am so excited cause my sweet friend Bonnie Irvine has agreed to take me on as a student of mixed media techniques.  We're going to be swapping ATC's that use the techniques she teaches me and they'll be going into this mini as a kind of mixed media reference journal for me.  So here we go.....

Meet Joanie.  Now you Mo's Digital Pencil fans may recognize her.  As you can tell she's an artiste.  She already has some painting supplies, but I gave her a few colored pencils too.  I've done a YouTube video in which I explain everything I've done page by page so if you'd like to know more about the construction you can watch it on my channel later this morning.  {Edit:  video is up now hereOtherwise, I am going to point out where I have used the fun Freckled Fawn embellies.
Here on the cover I've used one of the cute brads.  This one says "Yay".  I've also used a wooden frame and that cool yellow metal flower.  Yep, it's metal.
Here's a close up of Joanie for you coloring addicts.

The cool red gem on the sentiment banner is from Freckled Fawn.

So is this cool black and cream striped brad.

Here's another gem.

Can you tell I liked these.  hee hee

I used a cute There She Goes Clear Stamps paint bucket on the back of the mini to finish out my art theme.
Here's a pic of what I still have left to play with.  I wanted to spread it out a bit.  hee hee

Aren't those love letter brads the cutest.  I saw several things in the FF store that I could have added to my mini.  You'll be seeing all these leftover goodies on upcoming projects.
Make sure you leave a comment for your chance to win.

Pamper yourself

Guess I went a little pastel crazy with this one.  Mo has really captured the modern day teen/young adult with this stamp.  Her name is Roxy and she is the image I chose to use for my sweet DT sistah Cathy's "Flower" challenge this week at Mo's Digital Pencil.  Actually this challenge will last for two weeks as the DT takes a tiny vacay.  My flowers come in the form of that yummy rosette trim I've used along the side of my card.  Here's a close up of Miss Thang.

Copics Used:
skin E000, E00, E11, E13, R20, R30
hair E51, E53, E55, E57
clothes E93, E95, E97, BG10, BG11, BG13, R20, R22, R24
robe R81, R83, R85, C00, C2, C4
chair G21, G40, G94
grounding W1, W3, W5

I know that several of you have asked me to do coloring tutes.  I have tried but all I have is my Sony Cybershot.  It does take videos, but I cannot zoom in close enough with it to be able to show my coloring steps well.  Those tutes will probably have to wait until I can purchase a regular video camera.
Don't forget that we are having a Guest Designer tryout at Mo's Digital Pencil.  Color up something from Mo and make sure you add GDT behind your name when you link up.
     Have a great Thursday!

Supplies:
Paper--My Mind's Eye "Follow Your Heart--Be Happy", Bazzill, Copic Xpress-it Blending card
Stamps--Mo's Digital Pencil "Roxy", sentiment from Create with TLC
Tools--Nestabilities Classic Ovals, sewing machine
Miscellaneous--The Paper Studio pearls, rosette trim from my stash

Where I've been

Did ya think I fell off the edge of the earth?  hee hee  Well, I didn't, but I was beginning to wonder if I was going to have to call for someone to dig me out from under all this.

Yes, this is my kitchen table, which is where I do my crafting.  Now this is NOT a card, but a mini album which I will be debuting Friday along with an awesome giveaway so make sure you pop back in then to get in on the fun.  I put myself on a VERY tight schedule to put together a mini.  Those of you who know me well know that I am meticulous with my minis and SUPER DUPER slow at constructing them.  I have to say even with the limited time I gave myself I'm pretty happy with what I've got so far.  As you can see it's a major kitchen sink project.
Besides the update that I am alive and kicking I wanted to share the new postcards I've received in the mail.  My little book looks so awesome full of your wonderful cards.  :-)

Lynne, Ros, Dawn

Deb went traveling and sent all these.

Jen and Betty

     Thanks so much everyone!
Be back tomorrow with my Mo card and Friday with that giveaway and my mini.  See ya!
