We'll draw the winners of the prizes and announce them beginning Sunday December 26, 2010.
For my project I created a gate fold card using some gorgeous Stampin' Up papers supplied by our sponsor, Catherine Pooler.
Here are the construction details for my card which measures 5 1/2" x 5 1/2".
1. Cut cardstock for base of card at 5 1/2" x 11"
2. Score at 2 3/4" and 8 1/4".
3. Cut mats and designer paper for front panels. I used Early Espresso and the pretty holly paper for my card front. I cut my mats just slightly smaller (about 1/8") than the base card panel, but you could cut them the same dimensions or have a larger border. I then cut the designer paper slightly smaller (also about 1/8")than the mat and layered them.
4. My image is a digital stamp from Mo's Digital Pencil that was colored with Copic markers. There's also a little Glossy Accents on her snowglobe and some stickles on her dress and the edge of the circle. The circle was cut out with a Nestabilities die and then matted on a piece of Cherry Cobbler also cut from a Nestabilities die.
5. The image was attached onto the left hand panel with Sookwang adhesive.
6. The Holiday Wishes tag was cut with a Nestabilities die and mounted on foam tape and slightly overlaps the image to work as a closure for the card. The tag is made of Early Espresso and Crumb Cake papers.
7. For embellishments I added some beautiful Cherry Cobbler seam binding and some handmade roses with microbead centers. The flowers were cut from Cherry Cobbler and my leaves were punched from Always Artichoke and Crumb Cake papers and inked with Frayed Burlap Distress Ink.
8. All mat and designer papers were inked on the edges with Frayed Burlap Distress ink.
9. For the inside of my card I cut panels of Deck the Halls Designer paper for the sides and covered the center panel with Always Artichoke and a band of Early Espresso and some of the Designer paper. The journaling spot was cut with a Nestabilities die.
Now I've already told you about the blog hop grand prize you can win, but I'm also offering a little candy here myself. I'll make it really simple this time. All you have to do is be a follower of my blog and of course leave a comment.
Here's what I've got up for grabs:
Some yummy Tim Holtz goodness! There's a package of Hinge Clips, a package of Memo Pins and a Santa Letter cling stamp.
I hope you all have a wonderful holiday time with you friends and loved ones. Thanks so much for taking some time out of your busy life to join us for the Papercraft Star Tags (and more) of Christmas Blog Hop, your next stop on the hop is my very talented teamie,
Regan. I know she'll have something fabulous to share with you.
